How Obama's Palestine Position Sounds In Arabic

Now we have an answer, from the streets of Ramallah:

“We are choking on the American double standard,” said Muhammad Ali, an engineer. “America supported the movements for freedom in Egypt, Tunis, Libya and Yemen, but this stops when it comes to the Palestinian people. We are asking, why?”

It's almost Rosh Hashanah. All I can hope for is the avoidance of new anti-Israeli terrorism; the avoidance of any further immiseration of the Palestinian people; the avoidance of a new, steep, cataclysmic descent of American prestige in the region because of Obama's giant blunder; and, finally, after 44 years, the free and independent State of Palestine.
