After losing his legs to an IED in Afghanistan, Times photographer Joao Silva is back talking pictures. It's all the more inspiring that he's covering the closure of Walter Reed, where he's received his own treatment and rehab -- a symbol of him moving on, outlasting his injury, and reclaiming his life, as so many others Walter Reed treated have had to do.
I hope he writes a book. For now, I'll settle for being able to see Silva's photography again.
